The floor of the house is of wood with a grey phenolic clad and a non-slip strip. It is not soft but neither is it as hard as a ceramic floor. You can wash it with water and it is very resistant to wearing away.

In most cases you only need two people with some experience in DIY. For the indoor playhouse the assembly is very simple and no experience is needed.

To put up the outdoor playhouses you also need these tools:
-A garden shovel (if the ground is soft)

For people with a little DIY experience we can give these approximate times:
For indoor houses, about thirty minutes should be enough.
For small and medium outdoor playhouses (MINI and JUNIOR), it takes about three hours if the house is placed on a flat pavement and four hours if it stands on grass or on the ground and has lightning.
For bigger houses you will need a whole morning, between five and six hours.

The playhouses can be disassembled and assembled again. The sealing profile (in Kyoto model) has to be cut with a cutter and the newly assembled playhouse has to be sealed again.
When you order the playhouse, you will receive a budget which details the total cost, and where appropriate, the assembly cost.
You pay 50% of the bill when you place your order and the remaining 50% when you receive the playhouse.
The first payment can be made by a bank transfer or a nominative cheque. The second payment can be made either in cash o by cheque.

As SmartPlayhouse playhouses are not permanent structures and can be put up and taken down at any time, most municipalities consider the playhouses as temporary structures that do not require a building permit. However, we recommend you to check with your town council.
SmartPlayhouse playhouses have a two-years warranty from the date of purchase, which includes the structure and all its accessories, including lighting, flooring, etc.
All the SmartPlayhouse playhouses are made by order. Each house is assembled, inspected and packed properly before leaving our factory to insure that it arrives in perfect condition at its destination.
SmartPlayhouse does not accept any returns unless there is a manufacturing defect, or any substantial damage occurred during the transport. Even in these cases the incident can usually be resolved by sending a replacement part, free of charge.
We ask you to inspect the product carefully when you receive it and inform us immediately of any irregularities, even visually, on the delivery note that the carrier has to sign. If it is determined that the damage is irreparable (and has been done before delivery), we will replace the product.
The buyer is responsible for choosing the model and the accessories which are suitable according to the ages of the children who are going to use the playhouse.
Routine inspections, preventive maintenance and installation supervision are responsibility of the buyer and / or the owner, and they are recommended to ensure a play atmosphere, free of risk and injuries.
